Luis Pincheira Llanos, militante del MIR, fue parte del grupo guerrillero liderado por Nelson Araneda en la Cordillera de Nahuelbuta en el marco de la Operación Retorno. Contador de profesión, retorna a Chile desde su exilio en Bélgica, es asesinado en un falso enfrentamiento el 10 de noviembre de 1981, junto a Juan Ramón Soto Cerda, Jaime Cuevas Cuevas y Nelson Araneda, por agentes de la CNI, tras ser detenidos en la ciudad de Talca.
