Fotografía del modelo previo a la construcción del memorial que posteriormente sería ubicado en la entrada de Neltume, dicho memorial fue gestionado por el Comité Memoria Neltume y construido por el escultor Alejandro Verdi. Fue instalado el 13 de marzo de 1999.
El 14 de octubre de 2001 se instalaron las placas que recuerdan los nombres de 70 trabajadores del Complejo Forestal y Maderero Panguipulli y militantes del Movimiento de Izquierda Revolucionaria que fueron ejecutados y desaparecidos por la dictadura de Pinochet en la zona. Neltume fue dos veces asediada por organismos de seguridad militar: en 1973 y 1981.
